Bit of a narrow squeak, this one. On the one hand there will be much relief that the negatives finally didn't eclipse the positives, as they threatened to at one point. On the other,it's the exact same 55/45 spread that Evolution Of The Daleks got, and we all remember how good THAT one was. :P

Actually there were many eloquent reviews (and comments) on this blog explaining exactly why Evolution of the Daleks was rubbish.

I think Nu-Who as a whole is great, but there have been some stories that were less than great.

I'd say Voyage of the Damned was the second worst story of Nu-Who so far, with the 2007 Dalek two-parter being the very worst. (Going by episodes, Evolution is the worst.)

I doubt any story next year will be as terrible as Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks.

Even "There will be no... battle... herrre!" is better than that.

Don't wanna kick off a Dalek debate here, but I have to say that Daleks in Manhattan was excellent, but Evolution went wayyy-downhill. Daleks will never change, so the title itself says how naff it's gunna be!
